I know I should write more often here but it's not easy... There's so much going on and at the same time not much... I know that doesn't even make sense...
Since we arrived we have been staying in a hotel, you could think: "nice!", but not so nice actually. I have the feeling I'm on holidays but i'm not... And it kinda stops me of being more proactive... Fortunately we will move to a "service apartment" end of this week and then I will be able to visualise and comprehend how my life here will be...
As for now, most of the time has gone into looking at appartements, and going around the city. I have a very good feeling about this place. Yes, it is stupidly hot (and people keep saying it was way hotter earlier during the year) and a mess. But I've been surprised, I had in mind it will be much worse! True, I haven't been to old Delhi yet, but New and South Delhi have surprised me so far. It isn't as dirty and smelly as I thought (and what I remembered from Mumbai), and there's way more green spots than imagined. The traffic it is terrible though!
If everything goes to plan I will start hindi classes very soon, which will also give me a "semblant" of routine, and help me on my job hunting task!
